Why LABH Now?
Dear Friends,
I’m delighted to launch the Lost Art of Being Human (LABH) to create spaces where people can flourish through purposeful reconnection to beauty, community and self, all through the lens of nature.
My journey founding LABH began 25 years ago when creating the first experiential retail concept, Beauty Bar, utilizing biophilic design and nature’s wisdom long before they were mainstream.
Though proud of that success, I felt called to invest more deeply in illuminating humanity’s place within the natural world. I've expanded my focus into areas like neuroscience research, mindful nature retreats, and mentoring values-driven companies that touch many industries.
Even during my busiest times, I always found restoration, creativity and meaning through connecting with nature's beauty - whether an inspiring sunrise or quiet walk. It has taken time and deep reflection to realize, nature has truly always been my guide.
Now, LABH represents the culmination of my life’s work helping people rediscover the lost art of being human through conversation, time together, and immersive biophilic experiences backed by science.
Our offerings, from revitalizing spaces to mindfulness journeys, aim to gently help people reconnect to their best selves through pathways like creativity, meaning, and compassion.
I hope you’ll join our community. With empathy as our compass, I believe our collective future shines brighter when we walk in rhythm with nature and one another.
Be well. Be safe. Get outside.
